Healing is hard work.
Weekly talk therapy can help.
Life would be so much easier if we only had to handle one problem at a time. Instead, we are often faced with a mix of stressful situations, emotional rollercoasters, and family conflicts—sometimes all in a single day.
For those with the added complexity of a mental health disorder, it can become overwhelming. Psychotherapy can help you gain insight, manage symptoms, find solutions, and create a vibrant, balanced, and meaningful life.

Hi, I’m Jacob Wilen, AMFT.
19 years ago, my personal mental health struggles led me to the office door of my first psychologist. As my healing progressed, my enthusiasm for the art and science of psychology became undeniable. Today, I am more passionate about this work than ever, and I am honored to welcome you to my practice. I am a registered associate marriage and family therapist (#141949), a member of CopeHouse Collective, and supervised by Dr. Brandi Kulikov-Ramirez, MA, PhD, LMFT #134149.

Self-medicating is common and understandable for those with chronic mental health issues. We can explore your relationship to substances and incorporate alternative coping skills.

I do not prescribe medications. However, I know how dosage changes, side effects, and even small adjustments can affect your life. I will collaborate with your psychiatrist to ensure you receive the best care possible.

Your identity, history, and beliefs will be welcomed and woven into your healing process. If it is important to you, it is important to me.

Free 20-Minute Telehealth Consultation
During your consultation, we can discuss your current issues, needs, and concerns. This is an opportunity to decide if we are a good fit for long-term therapy. If not, I can give you referrals to other therapists and resources. Consultations are not psychotherapy and do not establish a patient-clinician relationship.
